The New Winding machine at Budryk mine

A modern winding machine was installed at the shaft I in Budryk mine. It will operate in the mining skip shaft, in a the southern range of the shaft I.

The new  machine is part of a large investment which is being made since 2008. It will enable to separate the extraction of coal type 35.1 with a new level in 1290.

This is one of the cutting-edge winding machines in the Polish mining industry. As its  designers and manufacturers declare it, it is infallible, cost-effective and more efficient.

- This winding machine is designed in such a way that it should be reliable for thirty years of its operation. We have implemented the latest, proven solutions - says Stanisław Kubica, electrical foreman at shaft department.

Basic parameters:

– excavation level 1050 – the way to cover 1130m,

– speed of the ride to excavation - 16 m/s,

– the weight of the excavated material in the skip - 35 Mg,

– time of the winding - 20 hours/day,

– efficiency - minimum 1000 tons/hour.
