Project title: “Technology for the production of a compacted blend component for a coke oven chamber filling system using fine coal fractions (FCF)” (DensiCoal)

Project objective: The main objective is to develop a technology for production of a coke charge component through compacting coal blends containing fine coal fractions (FCF). Assumptions will be developed for the pilot installation implementing the DensiCoal technology. On this basis a pilot installation with the capacity of 5 Mg/h will be designed and built. The technology is planned to be implemented in the Przyjaźń Coking Plant. Once implemented, the technology should increase efficiency of coke oven batteries, extend the raw material base for production of metallurgical coke, and improve efficiency of use of fine coal fractions (FCF) in cokemaking.
