Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A., as an entity whose shares are traded in an organized market on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, is subject to specific regulatory regimes and is obligated to implement and apply specific standards of conduct. Establishing the Anti-Corruption Policy, we align with these standards while following, at the same time, the best market practices.

JSW Group’s Anti-Corruption Policy is one of the elements of the compliance system. It sets out the rules and responsibilities of employees in the corruption prevention area. The document is an affirmation of the principles laid down in, among others, the Group’s Code of Ethics, through highlighting and applying them to the rules of conduct of business activity. These include, among others, unconditional compliance with the law, rules of fair competition and good practices and, primarily, the principle of no tolerance applies for any forms of corruption, regardless of whether they take place in the public sector or private sector and regardless of whether they generate or might generate any benefit to the Company, its employees, counterparties or business partners. The document propagates the prohibition of providing and accepting any financial or personal benefits or any promise thereof. In particular, it is prohibited to accept and provide any gifts and invitations to and from public functionaries.

Adoption of the JSW Group’s Anti-Corruption Policy aligns with the “Standards recommended for compliance management systems as regards preventing corruption and protection of whistleblowers in WSE listed companies”.
