- Overseeing all of the Company’s operations, including in particular: production (including occupational health and safety), production security, coal preparation, investments, methane drainage, methane management, process optimization and quality.
Graduated from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Faculty of Mining,
majoring in Mining and Geology in the field of Underground Construction. Currently writing
a Ph.D. dissertation on the conduct of mining operations in harsh geological conditions.
His professional career began at the Piast Coal Mine where he climbed through all levels
of advancement – from an underground trainee to the head of the mining department. Then he
served as Chief Engineer at the Ziemowit Section of the Piast – Ziemowit Coal Mine. On 1 January
2021, he assumed the post of Director of the Mysłowice – Wesoła Coal Mine.
For more than a dozen years, he served as an active mine rescue worker. During this period,
he participated in rescue operations both as a member of rescue teams and as a functional person
responsible for the conduct of operations in the capacity of Rescue Operation Manager.
