From 9 to 11 June 2025, the 9th edition of the nationwide CyberRange - Industrial Defense League 2025 conference is being held in Wisła. This is one of the most important events in Poland dedicated to digital industrial resilience, human and data security, and the integration of OT/IT environments in the context of raw materials and energy sector transition. The ninth edition of the workshop, which is being held in Wisła, is attended by 140 specialists from all over the country - representatives of the mining sector, industry, universities, research institutes, government and technology companies - who jointly debate the key challenges of cyber security. The session is being held under the strong and topical theme, "Secure Resources. Neutralize Threat. Save Production."

The conference was officially opened by Adam Rozmus, Vice-President of the JSW Management Board for Technical and Operational Matters - the host of this year's event. In his speech, he stressed the importance of cyber security for the operation of modern industrial plants.

- As JSW, we are taking concrete steps to strengthen the resilience of our IT and industrial systems. The mining industry cannot afford downtime, much less loss of integrity of production data. That's why we are implementing a cyber defense strategy based on real integration of OT and IT - with the active participation of specialized teams and companies such as JSW IT Systems - said Adam Rozmus, adding: “Building a comprehensive cyber security system is not just a technological venture. It is also a social and competence-related project - requiring well-prepared, informed and responsible people, who are today the most important link in the entire security chain.

The main organizer of the event is the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation at the Silesian University of Technology, in cooperation with the Foundation for the Faculty of Mining at the Silesian University of Technology and Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, which is the host of the conference. The event was also held under the honorary patronage of: the Polish Geological Institute - PIB, the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Central Mine Rescue Station.
