From January through September 2026, total coal production amounted to 9.77 million tons, representing 73.5 percent of the annual production target. Coke production reached 2.17 million tons, accounting for 66.5 percent of the full-year target.
In Q1, coal sales totaled 3.21 million tons and coke sales totaled 0.72 million tons. The estimated average contract price for coking coal sold to external customers was 754.83 PLN per ton, while the price of coke reached PLN 1,078.93.
The market situation was driven by fluctuations in the prices of coking coal and coke, as well as the continuing difficult situation in the European steel sector.
