The best, playing on one team

The executives of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa met with the representatives of the three largest sports clubs supported by JSW.

Tomasz Cudny, JSW’s President and Artur Wojtków, JSW’s Vice-President for Labor and Social Policy, met with Adam Gorol, president of KS Jastrzębski Węgiel, Kazimierz Szynal, president of JKH GKS Jastrzębie, and Marcin Ćwikła, president of GKS Jastrzębie. During the meeting they signed further sponsorship agreements with the sports clubs and discussed the rules of cooperation in the area of sponsorship in 2022.

“Sponsorship activity is the foundation, on which we base the image of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa. Our cooperation with professional sports clubs without a doubt elevates our brand recognition, not only in Poland, but also across Europe. Sport has a very special place in JSW’s sponsorship activities; it is also very important for our employees as well as other residents of our region. We are the largest employer in the region and our employees are sports fans. We are a socially responsible company and we want to promote sports and a healthy and active lifestyle among our employees”, Tomasz Cudny, JSW President, said during the meeting.

We, as sports activists, but also players and fans know very well that if it were not for Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, we would not be where we are today”, Adam Gorol, President of Polish champions KS Jastrzębski Węgiel, said.  

KS Jastrzębski Węgiel is the current Polish Champion and winner of the Polish Super Cup in volleyball. JKH GKS Jastrzębie is also the current Polish Champion, winner of the Polish Cup and Polish Super Cup in hockey. GKS Jastrzębie is currently competing in the 2nd tier of Polish football.
