- Consolidation of sales can more effectively manage this area of activity for our group, to plan and control, avoiding the duplication of responsibilities and employment. The role of the Polski Koks has expanded, now it takes overall sales of coal, coke and coal derivatives. The best sales professionals are gathered in one place and I think that it will bring good results
- affirms Edward Szlęk, CEO of JSW.

The beginning of changes was the elimination of trade department in the parent company. The staff responsible for this area were transferred to the Polski Koks. The next step associated with the reorganization in terms of trade changes is the composition of the board of the company taking over the task. The Supervisory Board has taken this decision on 6 July. Since 13 July Tadeusz Wenecki is the head of the board of Polski Koks, the other members of the board are Wacław Będkowski - Vice President for Coal Sales and Antonii Borysiewicz - Vice President for Sales of Coke and Coal Derivatives.

Since 2008 the new president of the Polski Koks held the position of President of the coke plant Czestochowa Nowa Sp. Z oo, formed after the separation from the structures of ISD Huta Czestochowa. At that time, he conducted  the program of a thorough modernization of the plant, whose existence had been previously uncertain. Tadeusz Wenecki has great managerial experience. He has been associated mainly with coke sector. For many years he has been the  director of the "Friendship", the most modern coking plant in Poland, the President of Non-Ferrous Metal Steelworks Szopienice S.A. and then president of the Silesia Financial Society in Katowice. Author of many organizational, restructuring and development projects.
