JSW S.A. stocks listed in the form of futures contracts

As of 2 November 2011 the stocks of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. will be listed on the WSE in the form of futures contracts. The decision in this matter was made by the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange on 25 October.

One contract will comprise 100 JSW S.A. stocks of the following series: FJSWZ11 (expiring on 16 December 2011), FJSWH12 (expiring on 16 March 2012) and FJSWM12 (expiring on 15 June 2012). The stock contracts are listed in the continuous trading system, post-auction trading is organized, and the trading unit is one contract. To be a participant in the stock futures market one needs to hold the so-called NKK, i.e. the Client Classification Number assigned by the National Securities Depository. To receive it you are normally required to sign a separate agreement with the brokerage house.

JSW S.A. is the biggest producer of high-quality coking coal in the European Union. On 6 July 2011 the Company became listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and since 19 September 2011 it has been listed as part of the WIG20 index. Before, JSW S.A. stocks were also included in the prestigious MSCI Poland Standard Index.
