Jastrzębski Węgiel is the champion of Poland. Congratulations!

In the third match of the PlusLiga finals, Jastrzębski Węgiel impressively defeated the defending champion Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and reached for its third-ever title as Polish champions after a two-year break.

For the third time in the club's history, the Jastrzębie players won the Polish championship. After the gold in 2004 and two years ago, when they also defeated the Kędzierzyn team in the final. On 10 May, they added another title to the collection. The Jastrzębie team defeated ZAKSA in the final three games, and on Wednesday only confirmed their dominance, beating them 3:0. In the entire final games, ZAKSA, which has been able to overcome all difficulties this season, this time in three matches managed to snatch just one set from Jastrzębie players.

However, this is not the end of the rivalry between these teams this season. On 20 May they will meet in the Champions League grand final in Turin.
