The intention of the JSW Board is to make this conference accompany the creation of the Company's latest initiative, namely the R & D center under the name Jastrzębskie Centrum Innowacji i Rozwoju - JSW INNOWACJE. The youngest member of the JSW group is to be a comprehensive research and development base for the entire group focused on close cooperation with Polish scientific centers.
The main organizer of the 2017 is the Association of Mining Engineers and Technicians in Rybnik. The patronage over the project was provided by the Ministry of Energy and the Australian, Canadian and South African Embassies.
The conference, which will be hosted by Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa in 2017, was set up in 2004 by the joined forces of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow.
"This year's forum, which is being held in our mine, is to become a platform for the exchange of scientific thought and practical engineering solutions with representatives of mining communities from many countries" says Daniel Ozon, Chairman of the JSW Board. - The Forum will be an excellent opportunity to establish direct business contacts, identify markets and investment conditions, and consolidate good relationships. We are convinced that this meeting within a specific technological dialogue between Poland and the World will open new opportunities for innovative solutions in the field of automation, computerization and monitoring of the entire mining process - Ozon says.
