Inauguration of the SkillUp Development Center

A ceremonial event inaugurating the SkillUp Development Center, organized by JSW Szkolenie i Górnictwo, a JSW Group company, was held today (27 May) in Katowice.

As part of the inauguration, a workshop entitled "Psychological aspects of management: a leader of change and development" was conducted by experienced personal development trainers and team leaders. The meeting was aimed at introducing participants to modern leadership concepts and the role of the leader in a dynamically changing work environment. Participants were also introduced to practical tools to support effective team management.

The event was officially opened by the Management Board of JSW Szkolenie i Górnictwo Sp. z o.o. with a presentation on the assumptions and plans for the SkillUp Development Center delivered by Piotr Buffi, director of the Training and Development Department at JSW Szkolenie i Górnictwo.

The event was also attended by representatives of the JSW S.A. Management Board, Supervisory Board, presidents of mining-related companies, and representatives of universities and institutions cooperating with the industry. The presence of many distinguished guests underscored the importance of the initiative for the development of leadership competencies and the promotion of modern management standards in the industrial sector.

The SkillUp Development Center aims to support the development of soft, leadership and managerial skills among employees in the mining and mining-related industries, responding to the challenges of today's labor market.
