Statement by the JSW S.A. Management Board

In response to the publications by one of the representative trade union organizations, the JSW S.A. Management Board hereby reports that it is ready to immediately resume talks and continue working on the draft agreement, which has been worked on jointly with the trade unions over the past few weeks. At the beginning of the week, the parties were close to reaching a compromise, which is so necessary for the Company today.

JSW S.A. is currently in a situation that does not allow for further endless negotiations and bargaining. In order to survive, the Company today needs decisions and solutions that must be implemented immediately, which is a priority for the Management Board.

It is not possible to start negotiations from scratch after a whole series of talks, analyses, and agreements, based on new, previously unknown proposals prepared under the influence of press publications that appeared in the public domain on Tuesday.

With the interests of the entire JSW Group in mind, it is necessary to return to the negotiating table based on the achievements made so far and with respect for the efforts that both sides have put into the agreements reached thus far. Only together, in a spirit of responsibility and mutual respect, can we develop solutions that will secure the future of JSW S.A. and its employees.

Therefore, today the JSW S.A. Management Board will send an invitation to representative trade unions for another meeting.
