The mural, placed 70 meters above ground, commemorates the signing of the August Agreements, an important event in history, by using the language of modern art. The action has been initiated by the National Cultural Centre, NSZZ “Solidarność” and the Solidarity Heritage Institute. Similar murals have been created also in other cities where “Solidarity” was born: in Gdańsk, Szczecin and Dąbrowa Górnicza.
