JSW's virtual assistant at a higher level. AITIS with new AI features

The AITIS virtual assistant, developed by, among others, JSW IT Systems employees and the editorial team of the “Crew Head’s Zone and More,” has undergone a significant update.

The new version of the ChatBot offers a number of features based on artificial intelligence and enhanced tools for working with documents, which significantly increases its usability for JSW Group employees.

The biggest new feature in AITIS is the “AI Functions” module, which supports intelligent processing of texts, documents and images. Among the available options are automatic summarization of content, translations into selected languages, conversion of text into bullet lists, document rewriting, PDF analysis and image interpretation.

- The system verifies the data to understand its meaning and extract valuable information from it - explains Robert Zając, head of the AI/BI Competence Center at JSW ITS Systems. - This can involve a variety of disciplines, such as statistics, mathematics or information technology. The goal is to transform information into knowledge that can be realistically used in daily work.

All analyzed files - both text and graphics - are presented in a separate window, enhancing the user experience.

AITIS has also been enhanced with advanced functions for managing company materials and legal files. Users gained access to up-to-date documents, templates and designs - also in editable DOC and DOCX formats.

Importantly, the ChatBot automatically updates legislation using the official API of the Sejm. The system checks amendments to acts and regulations and then combines them into consolidated documents, eliminating the need for manual tracking of the amendments.

- A very important feature which distinguishes AITIS from other solutions is the indication of the source of the information with the exact place from which it was obtained - stresses Zbigniew Schinohl, editor of the editorial team of the “Crew Head’s Zone and More.” - Nevertheless, users should always verify the answers against the attached source.

In response to users' needs, a function has been added to the system that allows access to information on, among other things, the current directors of the plants or the composition of management and supervisory boards in JSW Group companies. The searched data is taken from the official websites of Group companies and presented with an active link to the source.

One of the key aspects of AITIS remains security. The system operates locally - it is installed on the servers of the JSW Group Data Processing Center, which guarantees compliance with internal security standards and industry regulations. Access to information is precisely controlled and limited only to JSW Group resources and current legislation.

The platform also launched a dedicated widget leading to the ChatBot (https://chatbot.gkjsw.pl/), with video tutorials and a set of frequently asked questions for users.

The new version of AITIS is available to JSW IT Systems employees, users of the training and information platform “Crew Head’s Zone and more,” Integrated Management System proxies and other JSW Group employee groups and teams.
