JSW takes a long-term view

Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa signed an agreement with the Pawłowice Municipality on education in the field of mechanical and electrical technician. The agreement applies to the next four years starting next school year.

Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa will organize practical vocational training for students of the technical school, which is part of the Jan Paweł II High Schools Complex in Pawłowice. The training will be provided in the professions of electrical and mechanical technician.

– I am glad that the school has decided to enter a new area and start training mechanical technicians, which are in great demand in JSW mines – stressed Artur Wojtków, Vice-President of the JSW Management Board for Labor and Social Policy. – Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, as a producer of coking coal, has good prospects, so I encourage young people to tie their future with us – added the Mr. Wojtków.

Internships will take place at the Pniówek mine in an adit and electrical workshop.
