The competition is organized by the editors of ecorynek.com and Business Magazine. Optimizing business processes with ReadIT OCR Pro has a positive impact on reducing paper and energy consumption, in line with the less waste trend (the trend is to generate as little waste as possible, or even to eliminate it altogether). The awarded implementation complies with the standards of a modern managed enterprise and, according to the editors of ecorynek.com and BUSINESS MAGAZINE, is an example of an activity compliant with the idea of sustainable development, worth following by other players operating on the Polish market.

ReadIT OCR Pro was implemented at Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa in 2020. It is used to read and validate data from over 10,000 documents per month. The solution significantly reduced manual data input into IT systems and reduced the time required for these operations by 80-90%. An additional benefit is the elimination of tedious and monotonous work and a significant reduction of errors associated with manual copying of data. Assuming that data from 10 thousand financial documents is read per month, the savings resulting from the implementation of ReadIT OCR Pro can be up to PLN 500 thousand per year.
