This Sunday, 28 May, in the meadow in front of the MOSiR hall on Leśna Street, you will be able to get answers to even the craziest questions. This will be taken care of by ladies and gentlemen in white lab coats and with graduated cylinders in their hands, as well as illusionists, acrobats and magicians. Those interested in unusual phenomena - especially the youngest - will be able to touch, smell, taste and see up close all the objects of the presented experiments. Learning through fun - this is the main slogan guiding the initiators of this great event. At 3:30 p.m. sharp, a great musical educational show will begin. Actors of the Katarynka Theater in the play "Frania Recycling, four elements and ecodancing" will bring the fairy tale world to order in a singing and dancing way, together with the audience. Accompanied by sparklers, thousands of soap bubbles and smoke, for 60 minutes they will learn through fun. Another highlight of the event is a display of artistic bubbles that will intermingle, fill with smoke and create unusual shapes. There will also be inflatables, water balls and boats for the younger children, while the slightly older ones will be able to challenge themselves on the climbing wall and obstacle course. There will also be competition in a number of sports competitions for children and youths. And for those who like movies, the organizers invite them to several screenings in spherical cinemas. At the end there will be a big foam party. The event starts at 3:00 p.m. It is worth arriving on time. Admission is free for all who wish to attend.
However, this is not the end of the events planned for the anniversary year of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa. On Saturday, 3 June, the Municipal Stadium in Jastrzębie-Zdrój will host a Grand Picnic during which Baranovski, Ania Dąbrowska, Patrycja Markowska and Grzegorz Markowski, Krzysztof Cugowski with the Band of Champions, IRA, LemON and Mrozu will perform. In addition, we invite you to the food truck zone and children's play zone, which will be located on the Barbary Estate from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event at the Municipal Stadium will be hosted by Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna and Jerzy Mielewski. Admission is free.
Another event has been scheduled for Saturday, 17 June. This will be a jubilee festival on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the Knurów mine, which will be held at the Knurów Municipal Stadium on Dworcowa Street. At the same time, a volleyball tournament for the JSW President's Cup will be held in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. The games will last until Sunday, 18 June.
And finally, on Saturday, 24 June, an event dedicated to the employees of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, the Miner's Run, will be held. It will be an extreme obstacle-off-road run over three distances combining adventure and challenges - with fun. The run will be organized in the area of the spoil tip belonging to the Borynia Section. It is worth noting that advance registration applies here.
