The two-day visit began last Friday. The guests, led by Bartosz Rożnawski, Vice-President of the Management Board for Production, and Artur Wasilewski, Vice-President of the Management Board for Economic and Financial Matters, visited Jastrzębskie Zakłady Remontowe in Suszec. They learned about projects implemented within the JSW Group related to the unification of powered supports and scraper conveyors.

- Successive projects implemented over the years aimed at unifying the machinery park - powered support sections and both belt and scraper conveyors - are an element we can boast about and share our experience - said Adam Rozmus, Vice-President of the JSW SA Management Board for Technical and Operational Matters.

Ongoing activities related to improving the quality of production and roof control in longwalls mined at JSW were also presented.

- The presented activities will certainly be a prelude to further discussions and the optimal use of new solutions that we are currently implementing and JSW has been using for several years - said Bartosz Rożnawski, Vice-President of the Management Board for Production at LW Bogdanka SA, adding: - Solutions that have proven themselves in the harsh conditions of JSW's longwalls can certainly bring good results for us as well.

The meetings included presentations of products and services offered by JSW IT Systems and the Central Measurement and Testing Laboratory.

- The meeting allowed us to broaden our knowledge of the competencies of the JSW Group companies, being a very good contribution to further cooperation for mutual development - summed up Artur Wasilewski, Vice-President of the Management Board for Economic and Financial Matters at LW Bogdanka SA.

Both sides stressed that the visit helped identify the scope for further cooperation at the level of engineering and technical personnel.
