Body of the report: 

The Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. [“Company”, “JSW”, “Issuer”] hereby reports that on 2 October 2026 it adopted a resolution on the occurrence of force majeure in JSW and the notification of the Company’s business partners of its occurrence and the ensuing consequences for the obligations affected by the operation of force majeure. This decision was made in response to a rise in carbon monoxide concentrations in longwall C-2, seam 505/1, at KWK Borynia-Zofiówka, Zofiówka Section, and involves the preventive, temporary sealing of the longwall to limit the escalating hazard and prevent the outbreak of an endogenous fire. The Issuer currently anticipates the loss of production volume in 2026 to be approximately 157 thousand tons. 

The Company has taken organizational measures at JSW's mines aimed at minimizing production losses. In the event of significant changes resulting from the actions taken and the analyses conducted, JSW will report on them in separate current reports.
