Current Report No. 24/2026

Operating activity

Update of information on JSW’s operating assumptions for coal production in 2026

Body of the report:

With reference to Current Report No. 102/2025, the Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. [“JSW”] hereby reports that on 1 April 2026, following analyses conducted in the production and commercial areas, it updated the production target for 2026. The projected total annual coal production in 2026 will amount to approximately 13.3 million tons.

The update to JSW S.A.’s production target for 2026 is due to a reduced production forecast at the Pniówek Coal Mine resulting from a delay in launching the mining of longwall N-9. The delay was caused by a gas [methane] and rock outburst and a group accident that occurred on 22 December 2025 during the drilling of the N-9 rise gallery. Following this incident, the Director of the Regional Mining Authority in Rybnik suspended drilling of this rise gallery until specialized units complete their analyses and the Mining Hazards Commission at the State Mining Authority issues an opinion on the new preventive measures planned for the drilling of the new rise gallery. This will result in postponing the launch of mining in the longwall from May to November this year.
