The Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. (“Company”) hereby announces that on 23 August 2011 it obtained information that pursuant to Resolution No. 779/11 of 19 August 2011 the Management Board of the National Depository for Securities (Krajowy Depozyt Papierów Wartościowych, “KDPW”) decided to register in KDPW the Company’s 5,273,973 (five million two hundred seventy-three thousand nine hundred seventy-three) ordinary series D bearer shares with a par value of PLN 5 (five Polish zloty) each and mark them with code PLJSW0000015, provided that the company running the regulated market decides to introduce such shares to trade on the regulated market to which the Company’s other shares marked with code PLJSW0000015 have been introduced, with the reservation that the bearer shares in question will be registered in KDPW within 3 days of the date of receipt by KDPW of documents confirming that the company running the regulated market has made the above decision, but no earlier than on the date of introduction of such shares to trade on this market as indicated in the said decision.

Information on registering the shares referred to above under code PLJSW0000015 and the number of shares marked with this code will be provided in the form of KDPW’s announcement.
