We are working on the project of building a pumped-storage power plant at the site of the former Krupiński mine in Suszec. On 30 June 2017, JSW signed a letter of intent with the consortium of companies including CKD Blansko, Sage Power and Energoprojekt (leader in designing power generating units) on developing a design of a pumped-storage power plant for an underground coal mine. Development of an additional source of energy on the market with the capacity of 100 MW (reserve capacity) will contribute to an increased energy independence of the region.
