Recovering Coal and Aggregates Together

Yesterday, on 22 May, Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, Kompania Węglowa and Haldex signed a letter of intent regarding “Construction and exploitation of an installation for recovering coal and aggregates from mining waste stored within the territory of the Central Mining Waste Site in Knurów”. This joint project, in addition to economic effects, will allow the land to be reclaimed and developed.

“Reasonable waste disposal is a very significant task for our company,” underlined Jarosław Zagórowski, the President of the Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa. “By reclaiming the dump in Knurów we will be sure that the product to enter the market will be good. It can be guaranteed by the experience of the company taking part in this project.”

Also Grzegorz Czornik, the Vice‑President of the Management Board of JSW for Sales, Marek Uszko, the Vice-President of the Management Board of Kompania Węglowa, and Eugeniusz Postolski, the Vice-President of the Management board of Haldex participated in signing the letter of intent.
