JSW S.A. with awards!

Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa won two awards for the best 2021 annual report.

“The Best Annual Report” competition is organized by the Institute of Accountancy and Taxes, and the final gala was held last night (13 October) in the Trading Room of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The aim of the competition (organized already for the 17th time) is to evaluate issuers' annual reports in terms of their usefulness for shareholders and investors, and to popularize and promote good practices in financial reporting of public companies, thus increasing the security of the capital market in Poland.

The competition in the contest was enormous. More than a hundred companies competed for awards in several categories. These are companies from the regulated market, preparing consolidated annual reports, as well as companies from the alternative market. In the main competition, JSW S.A. won a high third place.

“This is a special award for combining the efforts and comprehensive expert knowledge of the employees of very many departments and teams of our company, and the crowning of hard work. Thank you very much for this recognition” said Robert Ostrowski, Vice-President of the JSW Management Board for Financial Matters, collecting the award on behalf of the company.

Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa also received a special award for the best integrated report in the enterprise category. JSW S.A. won ahead of such companies as PKN Orlen S.A. and GK Kęty S.A. The integrated report is the most advanced form of annual report, which combines financial and non-financial data. It contains the most relevant information on the effects of corporate management in the areas of greatest interest to our stakeholders and summarizes the results achieved by the JSW Group in 2021.
