JSW awarded talented students

Twenty-nine students received awards for top academic performance. The scholarships were presented to three best students from every school included in the cooperation agreement.

Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, which is the only producer of coking coal in the European Union, has always attached great importance to supporting local communities and educating young people. Through cooperation with schools training students in mining professions, the Company is committed to the educational and professional development of young learners, providing them with inspiration and opportunities for development in the mining industry.

- We are extremely proud of the achievements of these talented students and want to reward them for their continued commitment to personal and educational development," said Artur Wojtków, Vice-President of the JSW Management Board for Labor and Social Policy. - Our Company has always been involved in the activity of local communities. We believe that support for young people is an investment in the future of our company, the region and the country as a whole - added Artur Wojtków.

Under the scholarship program, JSW annually selects the best students from partner schools and rewards them with a cash prize. From each school, prizes of PLN 1,500, PLN 1,000 and PLN 800 go to the top three students. This initiative aims to award exceptional educational achievements and motivate young people to further develop their potential.

Cash prizes for JSW scholarship recipients were presented at a ceremony held at the Company's headquarters, attended by students, school principals and JSW representatives.
