Apostolic Nuncio in Poland visited the Jas–Mos Site miners

Archbishop Celestino Migliore, the papal nuncio together with the Archbishop of Katowice Wiktor Skworc visited the crew of Borynia- Zofiówka – Jastrzębie mine, Jas-Mos Site in Jastrzębie-Zdrój.

The Archbishop began the visit to the mine from prayers for the miners in front of the statue of St. Barbara. Then, accompanied by the Company's and mine management arrived at level 800 and went towards the wall R-15. After a short train ride and several minute walk, guests came to the wall, where  miners from G-4 division work. The Archbishops went along the wall talking on the way and greeting the miners working there.

- I met people very proud of what they do, not only for their families but for society - commented Archbishop Celestino Migliore after arriving on the surface. - The people deserve great respect for what they do,  - said the apostolic nuncio.

Archbishops Migliore and Skworc also prayed in the mine registry, in front of the statue of St.Barbara, for all employees Jas-Mos mine. They extended wishes to the miners on the occasion of the upcoming Barbórka. After coming to the surface Nuncio Celestino Migliore received the title of Honorary Miner of Jas-Mos mine. Vice President for Technical Matters at JSW, Aleksander Wardas and technical director of Jas-Mos Site, Jarosław Adamek presented the relevant certificate to the Nuncio, mining hat with green directorial feathers  and commemorative pickaxe with a decorative handle.
