Body of the report:

The Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. [“Company”, “JSW”, “Issuer”] hereby reports that on 16 May 2025 it adopted a resolution on the occurrence of force majeure in JSW and the notification of the Company’s business partners of its occurrence and the ensuing consequences for the obligations affected by the operation of force majeure. This decision is related to the events that occurred on 7 May 2025 in the Budryk mine, where an endogenous fire occurred, as a result of which it was necessary to temporarily seal off the endangered area covering the decommissioned longwall B-3 and the mined longwall B-4, seam 402.

The Issuer currently anticipates the loss of production volume in 2025 to be approximately 345 thousand tons.

The Company reports that as at the date of preparing this report, it is not possible to determine the full impact of the incident on the future prospects of the Company and of the JSW Group. In the event of material changes stemming from the analyses conducted, JSW will provide information in the form of separate current reports.
