The signed agreements are aimed primarily at strengthening cooperation between the universities and JSW. The same day in the District Office in Gliwice, Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa signed an agreement on cooperation with the Gliwice District in the field of organizing vocational training and guarantee of employment in JSW institutions for graduates of the Vocational School No. 2 in Knurów. The agreement concerns students who start school in the 2016/2017 school year. The contract stipulates that the number of persons planned to be employed will be determined by the company.
The agreements signed today are a clear signal for young people learning in vocational schools and those who are interested in mining-related fields that they can tie their future career with our company as a forward-looking company. We will be operating in Silesia for the next decades and we will need qualified staff. Machines, even the most modern ones, can be bought, but without employees no company can handle it. Today's agreements also proves that Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa is open to cooperation with the world of science, local governments, universities and schools - said Daniel Ozon, Acting President of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa.
