New Vice-President for Strategy and Development

On 8 August, the Supervisory Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa SA appointed Mr Artur Dyczko for the position of Vice-President for Strategy and Development, effective as of 9 August, 2017.

The Supervisory Board closed the procedure for the position of the Vice-President for Technical Matters without the nomination. It also published new vacancy notice for the posts of President of the Management Board and Vice-President for Technical Matters.

Mr Artur Dyczko has graduated from the Mining Department of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, in the fields of Underground Mining, Management and Marketing. He also completed postgraduate studies at the Jagiellonian University in the field of Human Resources Management and Mining Geology at the Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow.

He is the author and co-author of numerous research papers, expert opinions, opinions, implementation projects and scientific publications in the field of mining. Since July 2016, he has been employed at JSW, most recently as Technical Representative of the Management Board.

He has experience in the field of mining, mineral exploitation and the use of IT tools in the management of large multinational corporations such as Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, McKinsey, IBM, HP, Microsoft, Bentley, Dassault Systèmes (Gemcom), SAP, Deswik And ABB. He also has experience in managing large project teams as he has participated in the implementation of several mining projects in the mining industry, including LW Bogdanka S.A., KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., KHW S.A., Tauron Mining S.A., Polska Grupa Górnicza Sp.z o.o. and JSW S.A.

He is co-author of the strategy of LW Bogdanka S.A. by 2020; The chief mining consultant of the new business model of the Polish Mining Group and the author of JSW's crisis exit strategy.
