Krupiński miners got quickly adopted to the new workplaces

- For now, everything is fine. They received us well here. The work goes smoothly. Cooperation with the managers is good. There is nothing to complain about - says Krzysztof Rempega, foreman - branch manager GPR 6 at Pniówek, until recently, employee of Krupiński mine.

- The process of transfer has been carried out without problems. It's like at Krupiński, we do our job - says Łukasz Krzempek.

- We're not children, we were moved to another mine and you have to accept that. As for the work, a tremendous advantage is the fact that the coal faces are relatively flat. We no longer need to transport roof support uphill, as it was at Krupiński -  says with a smile, David Kanownik.

Krupiński employees are transferred to Pniówek mine,  Borynia- Zofiówka-Jastrzebie mine, Borynia and Zofiówka Sections and Budryk mine. 319 people have already been transferred until today. Ninety percent of the people transferred consist of development work brigades with supervision.

- There was no red carpet, but we welcomed employees Krupiński in front of the mine gate, led into the mine area and explained the location of main facilities - says Adam Ratka, director for work matters, Budryk mine. - Later, there was a meeting with the director of the mine, which until recently was the director of Krupiński. Needless to say that the atmosphere was very friendly - adds director Ratka. 90 employees from Krupiński mine have been transferred to Budryk so far.

- We have four new face brigades with supervision, each brigade has its coal face - said Jarosław Rutkowski, technical director of Budryk mine.

Similar situation was at Pniówek. – It is rare that so many new workers come to the mine one day, moreover those who were quite sceptical to such change. We met at the gate, after a short conversation we managed to lighten the atmosphere, and we went to have training - says Aleksander Szymura, director for work matters at Pniówek. – There employees got to know their supervisors and obtained answers to all the questions - adds director Szymura.

So far 102 people were moved from Krupiński to Pniówek. For them, a new branch of preparatory works was created - GPR 6. They have their coal face and supervision.  122 people went to Borynia and Zofiówka sections. Also there, the entire brigades work  together with supervision. Just as in other plants, also here the staff of Krupiński work at their coal faces.

Allocation of employees is carried out on the basis of mutual agreement. The transition between the JSW mines does not mean that employee is exempt from the one, and employed in other mine. No employee receives a new contract, but only an annex to the current agreement. It should be emphasized that the guarantees of employment pursuant to the Agreement concluded on 5 May 2011, continues to apply to all Krupiński mine workers who have been and will be transferred to other mines of the Company.
