Methane, as a source of energy, will go to primary school no. 16 in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. The most important work to start the heating installation will be carried out during winter holidays. The existing installation will be adapted so that it can be supplied with gas. The method of obtaining gas and transporting it to school will be quite simple. Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa will build an infrastructure that will enable the use of gas from mobile cylinder bundles. This will be done by building a two-hose distributor enabling free connection and installation of a device allowing the loading and unloading of a gas cylinder.

The transport will be carried out using two mobile cylinder bundles, with a total capacity of 390 normal m3 on a specially marked vehicle that will promote the idea of "Green JSW".
- I am glad that the residents will get the complete product that perfectly fits into the strategy of both Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa and the city of Jastrzębie-Zdrój. It is an ecological source of energy, and methane is undoubtedly such a product - said Artur Dyczko. Signing the agreement was possible thanks to the city's huge involvement.

- We are aware that JSW is a global leader in technology, while our schools educate future staff necessary for the strategic development of the company. It is precisely on such bilateral and reliable cooperation that the future can be based - said Łukasz Kasza, the Chairman of the City Council in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. The signed agreement also provides for cooperation on the supply of methane, also for the needs of other urban buildings.
