JSW Group: We organize first aid training

Starting from 1 June 2021 we invite everyone interested in participating in a free first aid training course.

The 1 hour course will be delivered using a Virtual Reality application. The campaign is organized by JSW Szkolenie i Górnictwo (JSW SiG). We accept applications at phone no.: 535 936 628 (6:00 am – 2:00 pm) or at e-mail address: [email protected]

Thanks to an innovative Virtual Reality application prepared for training purposes, JSW Group’s employees and everybody in the region interested in learning first aid will be able to attend the training free of charge for the whole month starting from 1 June 2021 (upon prior telephone or e-mail registration). The classes will be held at JSW SiG in at the Pniówek mine (VR lab – entrance from the side of the car park), Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 6.00 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The program includes first aid training for children, youths and adults. Thanks to practical classes course participants will learn how to correctly respond in life- or health-threatening situations. Under the watchful eye of a Virtual Reality instructor they will be able to apply the application and, using a first aid manikin, they will practice the required life- and health-saving procedures. The training will be held in 2-person groups, to ensure comfortable and safe sanitary conditions.

In the event of a threat to life or health, before the medical team arrives, first aid often saves human life.

JSW Group’s campaign is completely free to JSW employees, their families and residents of the Silesian Voivodeship.

We look forward to seeing you!
