The eleventh day of the rescue operation

The rescue workers continue to scrutinize the spots the search dogs identified yesterday. The water has been pumped out of the intersection of the H-10 and H-2 roadways. The rescue workers have penetrated this area to a large extent; however, they have still not found the last miner we are looking for. The longwall face of H-2 and the F-H ventilation tunnel behind the intersection are still inundated with water.

The second place the rescue workers are attempting to penetrate is the western portion of the H-10 roadway, which has been deformed to a great extent. The rescue workers are working in extremely burdensome conditions. To advance their search several more meters, they must first remove an enormous amount of destroyed structures.

We will report on the progress of the work done by the rescue workers in subsequent releases.
