Mining regulations unchanged

The new mining regulations will not come into effect as of January 1, 2017!

The new Regulation of the Minister of Energy:

  • on the detailed requirements regarding operating the underground mining plants,
  • on the detailed requirements regarding storage and use of explosives and blasting equipment in mining plant,
  • on the mine rescue,

moreover Regulation of the Minister of Environment on natural hazards in mines as of 29 January 2013, for over three years in the period of vacatio legis, will not enter into force as of  January 1, 2017.

These legal acts have been removed from the List of acts awaiting notice of the Government Legislation Centre.

Announcements regarding the entry into force of the new mining regulations, have launched a series of activities related to the adaptation of our mines / movements to the changes in legislation.
