Vaccinations at JSW

|   COVID

On Saturday morning, 12 June, a Covid-19 vaccination campaign was held in all Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa plants. Pre-registered company employees and their relatives were able to receive the first dose of the vaccine.

1.202 people showed up at the vaccination centers located at the company's facilities. All those interested had to register through the JSW Employee Portal, and everyone received a personal SMS notification with the exact vaccination time and location.

Comirnaty mRNA, manufactured by Pfizer and BioNTech, was used during the vaccination. Its use requires a second dose, so vaccinated employees will be able to receive it as early as 10 July.

The vaccination campaign in JSW SA is the result of extending the vaccination program to workplaces. It was organized in accordance with the safety requirements developed by the Ministry of Health and the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate. According to the requirements, the employer was tasked with, among other things, establishing cooperation with a medical provider, collecting a list of employees willing to be vaccinated, and covering organizational expenses.
