Budryk is one of three mines, where Krupiński employees will be transferred. Knurów-Szczyglowice mine has been out of the process due to the ongoing  payment standardization activities.

After the transfer to another JSW mine Krupiński employees’ salaries will be kept at a comparable level, they will have unrestricted access to the Social Fund and the membership of Loan and Benefit Fund.

One of the leading criteria for determining the new  place of job will be to maintain the current composition of the brigades, and where possible the mine will be chosen according to the place of residence declared by the employee. Importantly, no one will get a new contract, but only annex changing the place of work, which will be concluded by agreement of the parties.

- I understand the concerns and doubts about your future in JSW in this new situation for all of us
I would like to assure you with full responsibility that each miner from Krupiński will  find a new job within the structures of the Company. Personally, I will do my best, that you are well received by your colleagues with due respect to you. We work in different JSW facilities, but we are, after all Employees of one company – Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, which is to confront many new challenges for the future.  You are all needed to Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa so that it could be strong organization that copes successfully with all conditions.

- wrote in a letter to Krupiński employees CEO of JSW Tomasz Gawlik. The letter in the next few days will go to nearly 2 200 mine workers.

You have to remember that Krupiński mine is still working and there is no possibility that everybody leaves it at one time. Production must be gradually discontinued, and the transition of workers must be adapted to the rhythm of the plant. The final number of people who will be transferred to other mines will depend on the popularity of package shielding (mining holidays, one-time severance payments) guaranteed by the law on functioning of coal mining.
