The President’s morning meeting with miners

It’s a symbolic place – with these words the President of Poland Andrzej Duda emphasized how important the meeting with Jastrzębie miners was for him when he met with them early morning on 9 July in front of the Zofiówka Section.

The meeting with the miners by the gate of the Zofiówka Section was informal from the beginning. The President treated the miners heading to the morning shift to sandwiches and coffee. Miner’s had an opportunity to take a photo or exchange a few words with the President.

– The miner’s life starts at the break of dawn. That is why we are here in front of the mine this morning, because the miners start their shift at 6 am. I wanted to meet with you and wish you a good shift and a good day – President Andrzej Duda addressed the miners.
