Letter from the JSW S.A Management Board to the staff

Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Employees of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, On June 11th, the JSW Supervisory Board adopted a resolution to dismiss Mr. Daniel Ozon from the position of the President of the JSW Management Board. At the same time, Mr. Robert Małłek was entrusted with serving in the capacity of the President of the JSW Management Board.

As the Management Board of JSW, we would like to reassure you that the decisions of the Company’s Supervisory Board are based on the governing body’s statutory rights and their goal is to ensure the best possible functioning of the Company.

Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa will continue to operate efficiently and based on the highest standards. The Management Board comprised of Robert Małłek as the acting President of the JSW Management Board, Tomasz Śledź as Vice-President for Technical Matters and Artur Wojtków as Vice-President for Labor and Social Policy at JSW, continue working on the best possible operating model of the Company and the whole Group. Our common goal is to ensure further growth of the Company and to build its value for shareholders and employees in the long term.

We would like to assure you that the future of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa and its employees is our overriding objective. Until completion of the recruitment process of Management Board Members for the 10th term, we will work on ensuring safety and plan further increases of the Company’s value.

The Management Board will focus on the key issues related to our core operations and analyze every important decision thoroughly in terms of the possible benefits for the Company and its employees. We have relied on your commitment to the the well-being of our company – and your support for the solutions that are beneficial to JSW is very important to us.

We also wish to inform you that the Company is in a good financial position and we confirm the plans to pay out a profit-sharing bonus to the Staff for 2018. Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa is able to develop so well thanks to your efforts and hard work.
