Deputy Minister’s visit to JSW

On Thursday (8 October), Artur Soboń, Deputy Minister of State Assets and Special Representative of the Government for Transformation of Energy Companies and Coal Mining Industry, met with the Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa Management Board.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of trade union organizations active in the Company. At the meeting, held in JSW’s seat, the Company’s situation was discussed in the context of the problems faced by the Polish mining industry. President of the JSW Management Board, Włodzimierz Hereźniak, informed the Deputy Minister about appointing a task force in the Company to work out a model of its operations according to which JSW will strive to focus in 100% on production of coking coal.
